Things That Annoy Me

The first thing that annoys me are shoes!

NEGATIVE=Everytime you grow, the shoes don't fit. If it rains, the shoes absorb the water and make your feet wet. If they rip, rocks get into your shoe. They sometimes give you athlete's foot.

POSITIVE=They protect your feet.

The second thing that annoys me is the sound a straw makes when the cup is almost empty.

NEGATIVE=It drives me insane! It hurts my brain! Even when the container is empty, it still makes that sound!

POSITIVE= It tells you its time to get a new drink.

The third thing that annoys me are spiders!

NEGATIVE=Some are poisonous, most bite, and all look scary.

POSITIVE=They eat flies and other bugs.

The fourth thing that annoys me is static electricity!

NEGATIVE=It scares me when it happens. It makes the part that got shocked itch.

POSITIVE=It shocks the other person too.

The fifth thing that annoys me are nosy people!

NEGATIVE=They want to know everything that happened and tell a lot of people about it.

POSITIVE=You can find out stuff easily.

On November 11th, 1918, there was a complete stop to enemies during the First World War. Back then, it was known as The Great War. The day was known as Armistice Day. After World War II, it was renamed Veteran's Day which is a holiday representing American veterans of all wars.

BR: Last Bell Ringer

On the last bell ringer I used Blogger. I chose this program because I'm not used to all of the others, except PowerPoint. I enjoyed getting to choose what I was allowed to work on. It was more fun being able to choose what I got to work. I honestly wouldn't have changed anything about it. It was very interesting.

The Making Of The Declaration Of Independence

The  first draft of the Declaration Of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson. It was edited by Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and one other. It was then signed by everyone in the Continental Congress starting with John Hancock who signed his name the largest. The Declaration Of Independence was finally mailed to King George III as a "break-up" letter.
